Maryse back in the WWE....Kinda

Yes the gorgeous Maryse is back in the WWE.
Sorta.
The former two time WWE Divas Champion and one of the best Heels the WWE has ever had came back on the April 4, 2016 episode of Raw.
However, she is just accompanying her husband, The Miz to the matches.
And of course interfering in them.
What else would Maryse do?
She is now his "manager" and looks better than she ever did.
And now she and the Miz are referred to as the "It Couple".

Maybe if we are very good and take our vitamins and say our prayers....Maryse will actually suit up and get back in the ring.
I think a Charlotte/Maryse feud would be awesome.

Up and Coming WWE Divas, Paige and Audrey Marie

While AJ Lee may be the most popular of the WWE Divas on this blog at the moment, there are two female wrestlers that are rapidly gaining on her in popularity here.
And both of them are from FCW.
That would be Paige...

 

...and Audrey Marie

 I did a write up on Paige on one of my other wrestling blogs back when she was known as Britani Knight.
Of course she is the daughter of British wrestlers Sweet Saraya and "Rowdy” Ricky Knight.

Audrey Marie was born Ashley Miller and oddly enough, it still seems like a lot of her past is under wraps.
We think she was born in Houston Texas, but we don't even know when and there's a rumor that she was a gymnast before the WWE signed her.
Usually the WWE puts all this stuff out.

Anyway, both Paige and Audrey seem to be getting more attention, and matches like this certainly don't hurt any....



Note to the WWE....
You guys REALLY need to push these FCW Divas harder!
These are the ladies that are coming up through the ranks and they will be the next AJs and Kaitlyns.
They ain't gonna be popular if no one knows who they are!

Maria Kanellis better known just as Maria, is an American pro wrestler, working for WWE's RAW brand. She also still makes regular appearances in WWE's training territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling.

On the January 1, 2007 edition of RAW, Maria attempted to interview Kevin Federline, but was instead slapped by Melina and called a "biotch". This led to a match between the two later that night, which Maria lost . At New Year's Revolution Maria and Candice Michelle went down to the ring during the Women's Championship match between Victoria and Mickie James, and stopped Melina from interfering . For two consecutive weeks afterwards, Maria would get herself two tag team partners - Mickie James and Jeff Hardy, respectively - to take on Melina and a partner. She lost one tag match, and won the other. Her feud with Melina would lead to a No. 1 Contender's Match for the Women's Wrestling Championship in which she again lost via submission.On the February 26 edition of Monday Night RAW, Maria lost a singles match against Melina.

WWE Diva : Victoria

Lisa Marie Varon, better known as Victoria (born February 10, 1971) is an American professional wrestler currently working for the RAW brand of WWE.

She has been married to Alexander Varon since 1998, although it is expected that they have been divorced away from the media.

Varon and Trish Stratus used to be fitness models together. This real life fact was actually used as an often-overlooked key element to the first "psycho heel Victoria vs. Trish" angle. When explaining her psychotic jealousy against Trish in an interview on RAW, Victoria went on to reveal that they were fitness models together until Trish left for success in wrestling without her, although this was not all completely the case in real life.

In a January 2005 interview, she was quoted as confessing that she was legitimately jealous of the salary and opportunities given to diva search winner Christy Hemme. She later retracted and refuted this statement on her website, claiming that the reporter had twisted her words and that she and Hemme were friends.

She cites Ivory as a wrestler whom she was inspired by and Torrie Wilson as being her best friend. Varon relocated to Louisville, Kentucky in order to train in Ohio Valley Wrestling and continues to reside there. In June 2005, she opened a restaurant in Louisville named Fat Tony's Pizza.

Varon has frequently expressed interest in posing nude for Playboy. However, she has stated that she has yet to be offered a chance to appear in the magazine.

Victoria is a huge Xena: Warrior Princess fan, as mentioned on her Myspace page.

Varon is thought by some to be a "spiritual sibling" to wrestler Lance Storm due to them both having dark hair and a widow's peak hairline (hence the name of her WWE finishing move). They were also both subjected to poorly received dancing gimmicks. In a running gag on his website, Storm maintains that he and Varon are siblings, but this is not the case, as the two are unrelated.

Varon had red hair extensions throughout 2002-2003 in her first psychotic gimmick. At Cyber Sunday, it appeared she had her extensions put back in.

WWE - Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus (born Patricia Anne Stratigias on December 18th, 1975 in Richmond Hill, Ontario), is a Canadian fitness model and former professional wrestler. Formerly working for World Wrestling Entertainment, Stratus retired from professional wrestling on September 17, 2006 after winning her seventh WWE Women's Championship.

Stratus is marketed as the first woman in WWF/E history to have held the WWE Women's Championship seven times, three more than the four reigns of Lita and the four recognized title reigns of The Fabulous Moolah. She is also one of only four women to have held the WWE Hardcore Championship.

As a fitness model, Stratus has been featured on the cover of many major health and fitness magazines such as Musclemag, Flare, and Total Women's Fitness. She also released a calendar series called "Dream Team" with fellow model, Stacey Lynn. As a sports entertainer, she was proclaimed the "Diva of the Decade" on the WWE RAW X Anniversary Show. She was voted "WWE Babe of the Year" three times between 2001 and 2003.

WWE Divas - Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24th, 1975), better known by the ring name Torrie Wilson is an American professional wrestler, fitness competitor and model currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment under the RAW brand.

Wilson has found considerable success in both World Championship Wrestling and in World Wrestling Entertainment as a valet and diva.

In the final months of 2006, Torrie entered into a kayfabe relationship with Carlito. After Torrie's match with Victoria, Chris Masters ran to the ring and gave Torrie Wilson the Masterlock and released her when Carlito came to the rescue.

On the January 8 edition of Raw, Torrie helped Carlito defeat Chris Masters by hitting his left knee with the ring bell. On the January 15 edition of Raw, Vince McMahon made Torrie pretend to be Miss America. Carlito responded by calling Vince "not cool", resulting in Vince challenging Carlito to a match. Carlito accepted, unaware that his opponent would be none other than the Great Khali, and was defeated.

WWE Womens Wrestling Champion: Melina

Since Melina won the WWE Women's Championship Monday night, I thought I'd do something unprecedented and feature her in not one, not two, but three of my sites.

Melina Perez (born March 9, 1979) in Los Angeles, California better known simply as Melina, is an American Mexican American professional wrestler and manager, currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment working and wrestling on its RAW brand, where she is the reigning Women's Champion.

Melina is known for her ring entrance, which is a display of her flexibility. Standing beside the ring, she lifts her right leg onto the apron, then lifts her left leg, performing the splits, and then bends her upper body under the bottom rope. Michael Cole and Tazz were quick to label this "the greatest ring entrance in the history of sports entertainment." On RAW, she added another variation to this entrance where she stands on the apron before performing the splits and sliding under the ring.

Gail Kim (born February 20, 1976) is a Korean Canadian professional wrestler, valet and actress. Kim is perhaps best known for her appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment between October 2002 and November 2004. She is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and recently finished working on the movie Royal Kill.

At TNA's Final Resolution Pay-Per-View, Kim accompanied James Storm to ringside where he defeated Petey Williams with his feet on the ropes. However, she helped Williams from further assault by taking Storm's infamous beer bottle out of his hand and giving him a low blow. However, Kim was then jumped from behind by a returning Jacqueline. Jacqueline, now going by the name Miss Tennessee, has taken over as Storm's new manager. Kim has become Williams' manager and the duo will face Storm and Moore in a mixed tag at TNA Against All Odds.
