Lacey Evans WWE

This is NXT newcomer Lacey Evans (Macey Estrella).
Lacey is a wrestler now, but before that, she was a Marine and a member of the Marine Corps SWAT team.
So far her career in NXT has been less than stellar (see what I did there?).
Although she has done well in house shows, on TV...not so much.
Lacey and Sarah Bridges lost to Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, and she lost a singles match to Nikki Cross.

Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle in the Ring

Yes I know that former WWE Diva Candice Michelle started out as a model.
And although she was not even a finalist in the 2004 WWE Diva Search that she was in, the WWE hired her anyway.
Though at first Candice was just eye candy, she really put her heart into wrestling.
She was trained by Dave Finlay, Arn Anderson, Trish Stratus, John Cena and CM Punk.
As a result of the dedication, Candice defeated Melina at Vengeance, to become the first ever WWE Diva Search contestant to win the Women's Title.
She held the title for 105 days before losing it to Beth Phoenix.
She even won the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Most Improved Wrestler of the Year and PWI Woman of the Year in 2007.

Maryse back in the WWE....Kinda

Yes the gorgeous Maryse is back in the WWE.
Sorta.
The former two time WWE Divas Champion and one of the best Heels the WWE has ever had came back on the April 4, 2016 episode of Raw.
However, she is just accompanying her husband, The Miz to the matches.
And of course interfering in them.
What else would Maryse do?
She is now his "manager" and looks better than she ever did.
And now she and the Miz are referred to as the "It Couple".

Maybe if we are very good and take our vitamins and say our prayers....Maryse will actually suit up and get back in the ring.
I think a Charlotte/Maryse feud would be awesome.

Nikki Bella is Becoming a Pretty Good Heel

I wrote an article last month asking if it were bad that I liked Heel Nikki Bella better than Face Nikki Bella.
Well I don't care anymore.
I also don't care that she took a page out of The Beautiful People's playbook to beat AJ at TLC.
Look at that picture of Nikki pinning AJ.
She absolutely looks bored.
Nikki looks like she is thinking, "Is that the best you got?"
I'm telling you, I have come a long, long way from a "Bella Hater".

It's pretty much THE AJ site.

AJ has always been in shape.
But I think Mr. Punk has had his lady hitting the gym hard.

Her abs are at fitness model level easy.
Heck, maybe even fitness competitor.

I have seen IFBB Bikini Pros that aren't that cut up.
Well done AJ.
She looks like she is in the best shape of her career.

WWE Divas - Is it Wrong to Like Heel Nikki?

I have been watching Nikki Bella since she turned "Heel", and I have to say, I like her more as a Heel than I did as a Face.

The WWE really hasn't had a good female Heel since Maryse.
AJ is too cute and psychotic and Paige should be a "tweener" and not a full on Heel.
Alicia is just nuts.
Nikki seems to be able to do the "I'm bad and I really enjoy it" thing which is (in my book) necessary for a really good Heel.

WWE SmackDown - Naomi vs. Paige

On WWE SmackDown last week, Naomi took on Paige.
A longer match would have been better.
I still haven't figured out why Alicia and Paige are besties now.
I think the cowboy hat on Paige is a good look.
She should think about getting her own.

The History of the WWE Divas at WrestleMania

You know...the history of the WWE Divas at WrestleMania is not a very good one.
Did you know that for ten years there were NO Diva matches at WrestleMania?

And out of all the WrestleManias, I can only remember maybe two good matches.

Brie and Nikki Bella vs AJ Lee and Tamina on WWE SmackDown

So on WWE Friday Night SmackDown they had AJ and Tamina taking on Brie and Nikki Bella.
I guess the other ten WWE Divas on the roster were busy.

I expected at least a six on six match up.
You know...to get us ready for Wrestlemania.

But we got this...and the Bella Twins won when Tamina shoved AJ right into the ring and right into a Bella Buster delivered by Brie.

WWE NXT Results - Natalya vs. Charlotte

This week on WWE NXT we had the battle of the blondes, or the battle of the Legacies as Charlotte (the daughter of Ric Flair) took on Natalya (the niece of Bret Hart).
This started because Charlotte and Sasha Banks went after Bayley a few weeks back and made Natalya mad.
And of course it didn't help that Charlotte jumped Natalya at ringside during a match between Bayley and Sasha.

So they had what turned out to be a pretty decent match.
Very technical actually.
Charlotte even took a page out of her father's book and started attacking Natalya's leg.
But of course it finally ended when Nat trapped Charlotte in the Sharpshooter.
But...she was saved from a submission when Sasha ran in and broke it up, giving Natalya the win by DQ.
Of course Nat got a little revenge.....

10 Diva Tag Team - WWE Main Event

On the road to Wrestlemania, I guess the WWE is intent on showing us how bad that 14 diva match is gonna look.
So they give us Natalya, Eva Marie, The Funkadactyls and Emma vs. Summer Rae, Layla, Alicia Fox, Aksana and Tamina Snuka in case we had any doubt.
Aside from a few close calls, no one was hurt.
But out of 14 Divas in the match at Wrestlemania you will have 4 with a lot of ring experience.

AJ vs Naomi - WWE Monday Night Raw

WWE Divas Champion AJ took on Naomi on WWE Monday Night Raw....kind of.
AJ got counted out of the match.
Then the real horror began as Vickie Guerrero came out and announced the 14-Diva single-fall "Vickie Guerrero Invitational" match for the WWE Divas Championship at this years WrestleMania.
Yep...they did it to the Divas once again.
Way to go WWE.

On Friday Night's episode of Total Divas, Natalya....wait...
No...this was WWE SmackDown....but I think the WWE is pulling double duty here....

 

Natalya vs Alicia Fox - WWE Superstars

WWE Diva Alicia Fox gave "Total Diva" Natalya almost more than she could handle.
But of course Nat caught her in the sharpshooter and it was game over.

Layla and Alicia Fox vs. The Funkadactyls - WWE Main Event

The Funkadactyls (Naomi and Cameron) took on Layla and Alicia Fox on WWE Main Event this week....and there was no mention at all of Layla even having been gone.
And she was on the losing end of the match.
Not really good signs for the returning Diva.

 

Tamina vs. Nikki Bella - WWE Smackdown

On WWE Smackdown last Friday Night, Nikki Bella took down Tamina after taking a stout Superkick to the mouth.
And she also delivered the Rack Attack to her 150 pound opponent with authority.
I hate to say it....but I liked it!

Paige vs Sasha Banks on WWE NXT

On WWE NXT, Paige and Sasha Banks showed why the WWE NXT Divas are just as good if not better than the WWE Divas on the main roster.

On WWE Main event, AJ Lee tangled with Natalya again.
But hey, they are the two best Divas that the WWE has, so this was like a PPV match for free.
Even the audience got into it!

On this weeks WWE Monday Night Raw, AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka took on Brie and Nikki, the Bella Twins.
No Nikki didn't win the belt.
She just had it.
