Trish Stratus Now and Then

Although Trish Stratus left the WWE (technically) in 2006, she is still very popular.
The Trish Stratus Poker segment is still a highly searched term online, her Instagram account has over 818,000 followers, she has appeared in movies, tv shows and video games.
And of course there is the popular Stratusphere Yoga.
Recently she suggested doing another Team Bestie Tour with Lita and the fans loved the idea.

Here are some shots of her in her heyday with the WWF/WWE.....

Snooki at WrestleMania...Yay

I was gonna complain about the 6-person mixed tag team match at WrestleMania XXVII with Trish Stratus, the Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and John Morrison taking on Dolph Ziggler and LayCool.
But I think that Renee Gerber over at bleacher report says all that needs to be said about that.
You can read that article here.
All I can say is that Snooki being involved in the only "Divas match" at WrestleMania makes me about as happy as when K-Fed pinned Cena on Raw that night.
And I have said that before.

How long has it been since the WWE had a real female wrestling match at a WrestleMania?
Last year at WrestleMania XXVI we had the 10-Diva tag team match with Michelle McCool, Vickie Guerrero, Alicia Fox, Layla and Maryse defeating Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Gail Kim and Eve Torres.

Snooki's first appearance at ...wait...that's Santina...sorry.

The year before that at WrestleMania XXV we had the 25-Diva battle royal for the Miss WrestleMania Crown that "Santina Marella" won.
At WrestleMania XXIV we had the BunnyMania Lumberjack match with Beth Phoenix and Melina (again with Santino Marella) beating Maria and Ashley.
At WrestleMania 23 we had another Lumberjill match for the WWE Women's Championship with Melina beating Ashley.
WrestleMania 22 was the Pillow Fight between Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson which Torrie won.
Before that at WrestleMania 21 in 2005, we had what could really be the last legitamate singles match at WrestleMania for the WWE Women's Championship when Trish Stratus beat Christy Hemme (with Lita).
But I think the last real singles match was back in 2004, when Victoria beat Molly Holly.
Even though the match had a "hair versus hair" gimmick, it was an actual match.
No Lumberjills, no pillows, no one in the corner, a man didn't win the match etc.

So I guess I shouldn't expect anything from the WWE this year huh?

I just keep hoping.

The Top Ten Female Wrestlers for September 2010

I haven't done a Top Ten female wrestlers list here in awhile, so I thought I'd do a ten best of the best here on this blog.
Really, it's kind of interesting to me what womens wrestlers are popular because it's not always who you'd think.
And it also shows one wrestling promotion's pretty much total domination of the ranks.
Guess which one.

Maryse - WWE Maryse - Maryse Ouellet
Maryse, WWE.com

1. Maryse
Yes she is hands down the winner.
The absolutely most searched for lady here.
And it appears I'm not the only one that thinks she is being totally misused at the moment by the WWE, check out Renee Gerber's article over at Bleacher Report.

2. Gail Kim
Another talented young lady that’s being sadly underused by the WWE.
Former WWE Womens's Champ and Former TNA Knockout Champ.
And what is she doing now?

3. Candice Michelle
Not even a Diva anymore, but strong enough to show up at number 3.

4. Mickie James
Again, another former WWE Diva in at number 4.
Now she's a TNA Knockout.
But for how long....?

5. Melina
Really, the woman that should have the WWE Unified Divas Championship belt around her waist.
At least I think so.

6. Layla
Probably one of the most beautiful Divas out of the whole bunch.
And one half of The Beautiful...I mean Lay-Cool.

7. Christy Hemme
Former TNA Knockout and current backstage interviewer for TNA.

8. Michelle McCool
PWI's Female Wrestler of the year and the WWE Unified Divas Champion.
And yes a lot of people think that's because she's "Mrs. Undertaker".

9. Torrie Wilson
Former WWE Diva for what, over 2 years now?
But still in at number nine.

10. Beth Phoenix
And finally one of the best women that the WWE has on the roster.
I really cannot wait to see her get back in the ring.

Honorable Mention:
Trish Stratus
Victoria (Tara didn't rank, it was Victoria everyone wanted to see)
Velvet Sky
Maria
Chyna

Wrestling News and Rumors - Victoria/Tara, Jazz, Mickie James and More

Former WWE Diva, and maybe soon to be former TNA Knockout Lisa Marie Varon (Tara/Victoria) will be appearing at the Philadelphia Comic Con on June 11-13 at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
Also appearing there (among the ton of comic book and science fiction stars) will be another former WWE Diva, Jazz (Carlene Begnaud).
For more info go here:
http://www.wizardworld.com/home-pa.html

And in more convention news, former WWE Diva Mickie James will be appearing at K&S's "Heat Wave" event taking place on July 10th at the Holiday Inn in Carteret, New Jersey.
Another former WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro, will be appearing there as well.
You can get more info here:
http://www.kandswrestlefest.com/

By the way, with both Melina and Beth Phoenix out with torn ACLs maybe letting Mickie James go wasn't such a good idea.
But hey, she didn't get along with Batista so she had to go right?

Since we seem to be stuck on former WWE Divas, Trish Stratus' film Bail Enforcers is in pre-production and set for a 2011 release.
You can check out the website here:
http://www.bailenforcersmovie.com/

It may seem like most of the news here is about "former WWE Divas", but with the TNA women's division going like it is, "former TNA Knockout" may be being heard more and more in the future.
Tara leaving seems to be pretty much a given now.
If she'll go back to WWE or go ahead with MMA, I don't know.
Sarita and Taylor Wilde both are apparently WWE bound now as well.
Awesome Kong is already gone.
ODB signed a signed a multi-year deal with TNA in November of 2009, but she really doesn't seem too happy there.
And you have both Angelina Love and Daffney on the inactive roster due to injuries.

I had such high hopes for the TNA Knockout division once.....

Wrestling News and Rumors - Chyna

Chyna - Joan Laurer - professional wrestling news - wrestling news and rumorsLife hasn't been a bed of roses (by any means) for former WWF / WWE Diva Chyna.
Chyna (Joan Laurer) has been female wrestling's version of Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears.
And now we get this from SFGate about a story broken by TMZ....

Wrestler-turned-actress Chyna has been accused of attacking a friend at a motel on Saturday, according to a report.
Chyna, real name Joanie Laurer, has allegedly been named in a battery investigation by officials at the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gabriela Targos, who claims she has been friends with the star for years, alleges Laurer attacked her for no reason at a motel in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Full article at :
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/dailydish/detail?entry_id=62476

Chyna only held the WWF Women's Championship once, but she made a big impact on fans, and I know they feel bad about the way her life has gone since leaving wrestling.
Other ex- Divas like Trish Stratus, Lita (Amy Dumas), Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) and Stacy Keibler have done fairly well for themselves since leaving women's wrestling, but Chyna seems to hit one bad patch after another.

For awhile after leaving the WWE, things didn't look too bad for the "Ninth Wonder of the World".
Her book If They Only Knew was on the The New York Times' bestseller list, she appeared in a Sevendust music video, she had a guest shot on 3rd Rock from the Sun, she was on a special celebrity edition of Fear Factor, she appeared in the films Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy and Illegal Aliens.

But she had a bad relationship with Sean Waltman (X-Pac, 1-2-3 Kid, 6-Pac, The Lightning Kid and on and on) and wound up actually getting arrested for domestic assault after allegedly beating him.

After Anna Nicole Smith's death, Chyna appeared on Larry King Live and was visibly upset, talking about how Anna's life paralleled hers.
Even though Chyna worked on Anna Nicole Smith's movie Illegal Aliens, after the Larry King interview, the wife of the CEO of Trim Spa, Monique Goen said Anna did not consider Chyna a "friend".

Chyna has spent years battling drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental illness, and has been in and out of rehab centers.
She even appeared on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008.

I don't know what Chyna wants or needs.
But I hope she does find it.
The only woman that ever held the the WWF Intercontinental Championship (twice) deserves some happiness.

Female Wrestling - Mickie James, Trish Stratus, Michelle McCool and Ashley Massaro

Here's some more WWE Diva, TNA Knockout and Wrestlicious wrestling news and rumors...

At the WWE PPV, Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Mickie James took on the champion Michelle McCool and Michelle came out on top to retain her title.

And on WWE Raw Monday night, there was a 7 on 7 Diva Match, which really turned out to be a Rosa versus Mickie wrestling match, with Mickie winning.

Afterwards, Maria won the Slammy Diva of the Year Award that was voted on by the fans.
As Maria was thanking the fans, Batista pulled a Kanye West and cut her off.
Hey, they have been doing that in pro wrestling for decades.

Remember former WWE Diva (kinda), bikini and glamour model, actress and Wrestlicious star Bobbie Billard?
Well The Heyman Hustle has a bunch of new pictures of her that you can see here:
http://heymanhustle.craveonline.com/articles/news/22674-we-like-em-big-in-texas

Here is yet another possible return to wrestling rumor from another former WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro.
She said on her Twitter account...
"Thanks for asking my tattos are all good now and healed yay! And to answer ur ques i do plan on comin back to the ring...after traininwoohoo"
Coming back to the ring after training?
Could that be WWE, TNA or even Wrestlicious?
I think Ashley would be a good fit at TNA.

Speaking of former WWE Divas, you can follow Trish Stratus at her Twitter account here:
http://twitter.com/trishstratuscom

The WWE has a Nikki and Brie Bella Hockey themed photo shoot that you can see here:
http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/nikkibella/photos/8592310/

WWE Diva Alicia Fox will be out for a bit as she sustained a dislocated shoulder on November28 at a live WWE event in Johnson City, Tennessee.

I loved TNA for so long because they seemed to stay away from gimmick matches in the womens division, but now they are getting just as bad as the WWE.
They had a "Beautiful People Mud Wrestling Match" that seemed to have no purpose other than having Velvet Sky wrestle Lacey Von Erich in the mud with Taylor Wilde as the ref.
Yes I do realize that those are three of the best looking women in wrestling today, and that TNA just did this for ratings.
And yes TNA still has the best female divison in wrestling (Not counting Indys), but for a long time I said you wouldn't see this type of match on TNA because they valued their performers reputations.
Guess I was wrong.
If you want to see the match (and like I said, it IS Velvet Sky, Lacey Von Erich and Taylor Wilde so who could really blame you?) you can check out the link here:

WWE Diva and TNA Knockout News, Plus...Mickie James' Birthday

Mickie James-WWE-womens wrestling

Today is WWE Divas Champion Mickie James' birthday!
Yes, 30 years ago today Mickie was born in Montpelier, Virginia.
So Happy Birtday Mickie!

No doubt spurred on by Fox's "Wrestlicious", TNA is again talking about an all Knockouts TV Show.
Okay, maybe not spurred by Wrestlicious, maybe TNA is just really serious about the womens division.
After all, they are bringing the tag team belts back right?
This is something I've been wishing the WWE would do for years.
(Actually, didnt I read somewhere that SmackDown was originally supposed to be a WWE Diva show?)

And speaking of the WWE, they have signed another Diva talent.
Someone from the Indy ranks with years of wrestling experience that will enhance the womens wrestling division right?
Nope.
They signed 21 year old Trinity McCray, a dancer for the Orlando Magic.
She's starting training at Florida Championship Wrestling.

And Back to TNA, as you probably already have heard, Roxxi will be returning to TNA for the Knockout Tag Team Title Tournament.
Rumor has it that she will be partnering with Madison Rayne.
I wonder if they are gonna keep Roxxi and Rhaka Khan seperated?
As of right now, here is the line up for the Knockout Tag Team Title Tournament...
1.Traci Brooks and Sharmell versus Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed
(Kong and Saeed won which kinda stunned me because I figured Traci would win (upcoming PR) and Saeed would lose to develop Alissa Flash.)
2. Taylor Wilde and Sarita versus Daffney and Alissa Flash
3. The Beautiful People vs. Madison Rayne and Roxxi
4. Hamada and Sojo Bolt vs. Tara and Christy Hemme (Interesting choice considering Christy and Tara's past history).

The September 14th edition of Monday Night Raw will be hosted by former WWE Diva Trish Stratus.

www.MichelleMcCool.net, has an interview posted with the Diva.

Gail Kim Turning Heel?

I've been saying that I thought they should turn Gail heel for awhile now.
I like Gail, but I like the evil-submission specialist-I'll make you beg for mercy before the match is over Gail.
Remember when she submitted Victoria with the Flying Dragon / Christo (Tilt–a–whirl headscissors armbar)?
Well I do.

With both Michelle McCool AND Maryse injured, now would be the time to bring in the evil Gail to go after Mickie James' newly won Divas Championship.
I personally think a Mickie James / Gail Kim feud would be awesome.
But lets take it a step further.
No lingerie pillow fights or mud wrestling, let's give them a storyline like the old Trish / Victoria / Lita days.
Maybe an "I Quit Match" or a steel cage match.
Lets let these two really go at it and show just what they can do.
Remember, Mickie (to my knowledge) is the only woman to compete in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match.
That's a tough match.

And draw it out some.
They don't have to go to the "old school" lengths of a year build up, but give the ladies several months to really get some heat going.

With the right booking, this could be one of the storylines of the year.
Not just three TV appearances and one PPV.

WWE Diva News and Updates

trish stratus photos

"The Wai-In" has a two part interview posted on YouTube with former WWE Diva Trish Stratus.
Trish talks about her yoga studio, pro wrestling and more.
You can see part one here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heDM7gAnyKo

Trib.com has an article up about Torrie Wilson and her being on "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" on NBC.
I hope she does better than Ashley Massaro did on "Survivor: China".
You can read the full article here

Speaking of Ashley, I missed her birthday on May 26th.
So HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!

Indy wrestler Serena Deeb is still a maybe with the WWE.
She appeared on an episode of ECW on Sci Fi, but has yet to sign a developmental contract.
Serena has worked for Shimmer and Ohio Valley Wrestling and in OVW she has held the Women's Championship six times.

And while they are trying to get one diva into the WWE another has been sidelined for nine months.
Jenny Quinn, a WWE developmental women's wrestler in Florida Championship Wrestling tore her anterior cruciate ligament and will be out rehabing it.
Jenny is known as "Fifi" and Jenny Cash in FCW.
You can keep up with Jenny at her MySpace page here.

WWE SmackDown! Diva Eve Torres is taking classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Gracie Academy in Los Angeles, California, as are several of her fellow Divas.
You don't think the WWE read what I posted on my other blog about turning the Divas division into submission style wrestling seriously do you?
If so...where is my writers fee?
LOL

In it's "WWE Outside The Ring And More...." section, there is an article about Mickie James touring the garden of 9-year-old Sarah Lindauer.
Sarah is the latest "WWE Community Champion."

WWE Diva Wrestling News and Rumors

Trish is not too impressed with the WWE at the moment

A lot of WWE Diva wrestling news and rumors this time......

I'm not the only one complaining about the sorry 25 Diva Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 25.
Evidently backstage, the WWE Divas felt the same way.
Can you blame them?

And to point out even further what a joke the Diva's " Main Event" was, look at this excerpt from an interview with Trish Stratus by the Times and Transcript...
" Since retiring, Trish has returned to TV the odd time for special occasions, but she recently turned down an offer to appear on the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania, when it was clear WWE didn't have much planned for the divas battle royal.
She says the current state of WWE's women's division leaves a lot to be desired. Storylines, character development and in-ring action aren't really the focus."

You can read the full interview here:
http://timestranscript.canadaeast.com/front/article/640688

The movie Gail Kim is in, "Royal Kill", got a limited release, and from what I understand, the film is to be avoided big time.
I haven't seen a good review of the movie yet.
I guess that's the reason it was made in 2005 and just released now.
BTW, Gail isn't the only female wrestler in the movie, Molly Holly is in it as well.
The trailer is kinda cool though, they make Gail look almost like a Terminator.
The thing about it is, the production company seems to be embracing just how awful it is and is pushing it as a cult movie.
Let's see if that works.

WWE Diva Candice Michelle is about 3 weeks away from returning to the ring full-time from her ankle injury.
And the rumor is that she wants to go to SmackDown! when she comes back.

According to former WWE Diva Victoria's MySpace blog, she is NOT going to TNA, she was just talking to the president and chairwoman of TNA Dixie Carter at a MMA event.
Victoria says she is firmly focused on her MMA career.
Hmmm...we've been swerved before.

And rumors continue that former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro may be returning to the WWE.
Again the rumor seems to be coming from Ashley herself, this time via her Twitter account.
The funny thing is...I cant find her Twitter account.....

And finally, WWE Diva Rosa Mendez is dating UFC fighter Dean Lister.
If you follow MMA, you may recognize him as the submission-grappling coach for Tito Ortiz's team on "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show.

Gail Kim to Return at Wrestlemania 25 ?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Well the WWE Wrestlemania 25 women's wrestling event may be a disappointment to some.
A lot of fans were looking forward to at least one good singles match, but they are having a 25 Diva Battle Royal.
How can they have a 25 Diva Battle Royal?
The WWE doesn't even have 25 Divas do they?
Nope, but they are calling up the reserves.
This could be as much fun for the female wrestling fans as a Legends Battle Royal

The list goes like this, but I already see one possible exception.

1. Beth Phoenix
2. Candice Michelle (recently injured her ankle, expected to be out till April, will she make it?)
3. Jillian Hall
4. Kelly Kelly
5. Layla
6. Melina
7. Mickie James
8. Rosa Mendes
9. Brie Bella
10. Eve
11. Maria
12. Maryse
13. Michelle McCool
14. Nikki Bella
15. Alicia Fox
16. Katie Lea Burchill
17. Natalya
18. Tiffany

Now the other participants are up in the air, but rumors include.....

Trish Stratus
Lita
Torrie Wilson
Victoria
Jackie Gayda (Jackie Gayda-Haas)
And the return of Gail Kim.

Of course this is the perfect time to bring Gail back in, have her win the match and be declared the new number one challenger.
Remember the first battle royal Gail was in?

I have to admit, I think Mr.McMahon came up with a good idea this time.
This will give all the Divas some Wrestlemania time.

WWE Diva Wrestling Posters

I found these posters at PosterGods.com

It kinda struck me as strange that they had only 3 WWE Diva posters there and two of them are women that no longer wrestle for WWE.

They have a Candice Michelle.
Still wrestling, but not very much exposure.

A Torrie Wilson.
Not wrestling anymore, but running a successful clothing line.
And she is keeping her contact with her wrestling fans by making appearances.
Her next one being Booker T's "Legends of Wrestling" convention on Friday, April 3.

And an Ashley Massaro.
Although there is that rumor that Ashley may actually come back to the WWE.
WWE's head television producer Kevin Dunn used to be very big on Ashley.
One reason being that she was a WWE Diva Search winner and Kevin was the main person behind the Diva Search concept.
He was instrumental in getting her on the Survivor: China show, and possibly her "Smallville" gig.
But when Ashley got back from the Survivor show, Ashley didn't get the pop from the fans that she used to.
Some put that down to her change in appearance.
Also, some people say that she helped in the downfall of Paul London in the WWE.
Of course Ashley dated both Paul and Matt Hardy when she was in the WWE, and that might have something to do with the bad blood between Matt and Paul now.

All this attention to past Divas goes back to what I've mentioned a few times here and on my other women's wrestling blog, that sometimes the most popular ladies aren't even actively wrestling anymore.
Trish Stratus, Lita and Stacy Keibler are still very popular with fans, even after not actively competing for awhile.

Melina, Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Trish Stratus and Victoria

We didn't really get a womens match last night on WWE Raw.
We got a mixed tag team with Cryme Tyme and Melina against Glamarella and Dolph Ziggler.
Glamarella?
Really?
Are they still gonna go with that?
Anyway, Cryme Tyme and Melina won.

On Natalya's blog at wwe.com, she mentioned both Beth Phoenix and Trish Stratus....

" On another note, many of you have asked me how I feel about Trish Stratus stating she is interested in taking on myself or the Glamazon at WrestleMania. There is no doubt that facing Trish would be nothing short of amazing. Two Canadian women, fighting for everything we believe in, as true athletes would."

"I am very curious what will happen this year at Mania for the Diva's. Like Trish, I will be keeping my eye on the Glamazon, too...and knowing that the best is yet to come. She makes me want to get hungry and forget my manners! These women inspire me to exceed all of my own expectations and personal limits."

You can read the full blog here

And on the Victoria front ( I know, she's not wrestling anymore), she's going full steam ahead it looks like with her MMA training.
Hey, if Brock Lesnar can do it, why not Victoria?
I wish her luck and hope she'll turn up soon on my Female MMA blog.
At least then I can use the hundreds of pics I have of her somewhere!

Trish Stratus, WrestleMania and WWE Divas

You know as Wrestlemania 25 approaches, I keep reading more and more about former WWE Diva Trish Stratus.
So is she gonna be there or not?
I'm guessing yes.
Anyway, there is a really good interview with Trish at Slam Sports that you can read here
http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2009/02/03/8254361.html

And speaking of Wrestlemania, WWE has put up a website for it's "Legends of Wrestlemania" game.
The game will be released to coincide with the Wrestlemania 25 PPV.
But looking at the roster for the game, guess what's missing.
Yes, no female wrestlers.
No Moolah, Sherri Martel, Wendi Richter....

But I really can't blame the WWE. Their use of women's matches at Wrestlemania has been spotty at best....

WrestleMania March 31, 1985 New York, New York ,Madison Square Garden: Wendi Richter won the WWF Womens Wrestling title from Lelani Kai.
WrestleMania 2 April 7, 1986: Champion Fabulous Moolah pinned Velvet McIntyre
WrestleMania VI April 1, 1990 Toronto, Ontario SkyDome: Mixed Tag Team Match: Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire beat "The Macho King" Randy Savage and "Queen" Sherri
WrestleMania X March 20, 1994 New York, New York Madison Square Garden: Women's Title: Champion Alundra Blayze beat Lelani Kai
WrestleMania XIV March 29, 1998 Boston, Massachusetts Fleet Center: Marc Mero and Sable beat Goldust and Luna
WrestleMania XV March 28, 1999 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania First Union Center: Women's Title: Champion Sable beat Tori
WrestleMania 2000 April 2, 2000 Anaheim, California Arrowhead Pond: Terri beat The Kat
WrestleMania X-Seven April 1, 2001 Houston, Texas Reliant Astrodome: Women's Title: Chyna beat Ivory to win the title
WrestleMania X8 March 17, 2002 Toronto, Ontario SkyDome: Women's Title: Champion Jazz beat Trish Stratus and Lita
WrestleMania XIX March 30, 2003 Seattle, Washington Safeco Field: Women's Title: Trish Stratus beat Champion Victoria and Jazz to win the title
WrestleMania XX March 14, 2004 New York, New York Madison Square Garden: Women's Title: Champion Victoria beat Molly Holly. As a result, Molly lost her hair.
WrestleMania 21 April 3, 2005 Los Angeles, California Staples Center: Women's Title: Champion Trish Stratus beat Christy Hemme
WrestleMania 22 April 2, 2006 Rosemont, Illinois Allstate Arena: Women’s Title: Mickie James beat Champion Trish Stratus to win the title
WrestleMania 23 April 1, 2007 Detroit, Michigan Ford Field: Champion Melina beat Ashley Massaro

I didn't count gimmick matches, only real matches (yeah I know the mixed tag teams are kind of a gimmick), but you can see how the WWE doesn't really push women at the "The Grandest Stage of Them All"

WWE Diva Updates: Brie, Trish, Dawn Marie and Torrie.

Brie Bella, wrestling, wwe

On this Fridays Edition of Smackdown! expect a huge revelation about WWE Diva Brie Bella!
Okay it's a huge revelation if you don't have internet access. Talk about one of the worst kept secrets in the WWE.

Trish Stratus is still in Canada (LOL), the former WWE Diva and Women's Wrestling Chanpion does a lot of charity work up there, her last appearance being at a fundraiser for the Sick Kids Foundation.

Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie is expecting her second child. Dawn (along with Torrie Wilson) were both very active in coordinating hurricane relief this Summer in Texas.

Speaking of Torrie, her store Jaded had its grand opening the day after Halloween. Jaded is of course owned by Torrie and Ex Spirit Squad Member Nick Mitchell.

Am I going to mention the 16 Diva match on RAW Monday night with Mae Young?
No more than I just did.

WWE Diva Updates: Beth Phoenix, Trish Stratus and Candice Michelle

wwe, wrestling, raw, smackdown, wwe com, tna, wres

WWE Womens Wrestling Champion Beth Phoenix didn't break her nose on WWE Raw Monday night, it was just bloodied in her match with Kelly Kelly.

wwe, wrestling, raw, smackdown, wwe com, tna, wres

For all you Canadian readers, the Trish Stratus PR machine will be rolling Friday morning as she will be on CTV’s Canada AM promoting her new show The Stratusphere.

wwe, wrestling, raw, smackdown, wwe com, tna, wres

And finally, Candice Michelle, Batista and Shelton Benjamin are in Denver, CO for the Democratic National Convention. The WWE is really pushing the vote, and getting media coverage from CNN and others news stations.

WWE Diva Ashley Massaro Updates

And with injuries flying in the WWE, she might get her chance if she stays healthy.
