Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle in the Ring

Yes I know that former WWE Diva Candice Michelle started out as a model.
And although she was not even a finalist in the 2004 WWE Diva Search that she was in, the WWE hired her anyway.
Though at first Candice was just eye candy, she really put her heart into wrestling.
She was trained by Dave Finlay, Arn Anderson, Trish Stratus, John Cena and CM Punk.
As a result of the dedication, Candice defeated Melina at Vengeance, to become the first ever WWE Diva Search contestant to win the Women's Title.
She held the title for 105 days before losing it to Beth Phoenix.
She even won the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Most Improved Wrestler of the Year and PWI Woman of the Year in 2007.

WWE Diva's Champion Maryse

Maryse beat Michelle McCool for the WWE Diva's title on the December 26,2008 edition of SmackDown!.
Then on December 28, one of the Bella Twins(I don't know which one)nailed her with a dropkick that landed on her kneecap and dislocated her knee in a wrestling match in Raleigh NC.
Not a good year end for the new WWE Diva's Champ.
But now the word is that Maryse will return to the ring on January 16th, which seems a bit early to me.
I'm not a doctor or a trainer, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Joy Giovanni is an Italian American actress, glamour model and former WWE Diva performing on it's Smackdown! brand.
Joy gained a job in WWE after finishing third during the $250,000 RAW Diva Search and she debuted on SmackDown! as Smackdown's "Massage Therapist."
Many of her on-screen appearances in the company were with WWE wrestler Big Show, becoming part of his feud with JBL. She was also written into a heated feud with former SmackDown! diva Amy Weber, JBL's image consultant in 2004. This feud included a storyline where she was kidnapped and discovered bound and gagged in JBL's limo trunk, as well as a backstage catfight between Amy and herself. She also competed in the WWE 2005 Rookie Diva of the year contest at WWE No Way Out 2005. It consisted of several competitions including a bikini contest in which Joy pulled her bikini bottoms down to reveal a thong, thus winning her the competition. After this, she would occasionally appear on Smackdown! during backstage segments with other Divas or doing Bikini or Lingerie contests (majority of them were won by then Smackdown! Diva, now RAW Diva, Torrie Wilson). She was released by WWE on July 6, 2005 along with 20 plus superstars released that month.

WWE: Chyna - Joanie Laurer

Joan Marie "Joanie" Laurer was born on December 27th, 1969 in Rochester, New York.
She is an American actress, former bodybuilder and retired professional wrestler, best known for her career with the WWF between 1997 and 2001, where she was known as Chyna and nicknamed The Ninth Wonder of the World.

In late 2005, Laurer signed to star in a new movie entitled Illegal Aliens. She did a lot of promotional work for the movie, including appearances on talk shows and radio shows. On August 31st of 2006, she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a singing barber singing with three other veterans. Joanie also appeared on The Howard Stern Show, Queer Edge, and Opie and Anthony. In November 2006, Joanie revealed on the Dr. Keith Ablow show that she did not leave the WWE because of money issues, but left because Stephanie McMahon wanted her out. Also in November 2006, Joanie announced a new musical project with the band "Plastic Jones".

In January 2007, Joanie did an interview with "Lifted Magazine" where she talked about finding religion, overcoming a past full of drugs and violence, and promoted her new movies and TV series. These included The Surreal Life: Fame Games, which began to air on VH1 in January 2007. The filming took place in April 2006, during which she formed a close friendship with Brigitte Nielsen.

On the day of Anna Nicole Smith's death, February 8th, 2007, a very visibly upset Joanie appeared on Larry King Live to speak about her late friend. On the program, Laurer claimed that she "knew it was coming" because of the way the media had ridiculed Smith, and she drew parallels between Anna and herself. Later however, a close friend of Smith, Monique Goen, claimed that Smith, in fact, did not consider Laurer a friend .
On February 14th, 2007, Joanie and the Barbi twins led an animal rights protest at UCLA. The trio led other protesters to the door of the Neuropsychiatric Institute, a scientific lab where they perform tests on monkeys. The group had to be split up by the police, but not before a protester shouted obscenities and attempted to harm the workers.
