The Asuka Lock

WWE Diva Asuka is a dominant force in the WWE.
I've been watching her career since she was a dominant force in Japan.
One of the reasons she dominates here in the US is the dread Asuka Lock, which is a Crossface chickenwing with bodyscissors.
Once she locks that on, it's pretty much over.
Of course thats here.
As Kana, she had a whole arsenal of finishing moves like Billiken (Running hip attack), the Henkei Zombie-gatame (Leg trap camel clutch), the Kanagon (Grounded dragon sleeper) and the Seated Fujiwara armbar.
So if she needs it, Kana has a lot of moves in her bag of tricks besides the Asuka Lock.

Aliyah, Asuka and Liv - WWE NXT

Now this is an interesting trio of WWE NXT Divas.
Aliyah (Nhooph Al-Areebi), Asuka (Kanako Urai) and Liv Morgan (Gionna Daddio).
And they all have masks...

Asuka vs. Nia Jax - NXT Women's Championship Match

At NXT's Live Event in Osaka, Japan, Nia Jax took on Asuka.
It was a good match, size and power versus speed and skill.
But in the end Asuka prevailed in front of her hometown crowd.

WWE NXT - Asuka Destroys Aliyah

Well it looks like Asuka is a Heel now.
Not that I have a problem with that.
On the August 3rd episode of WWE NXT, she pretty much destroyed Aliyah right in front of Bayley.
Stiff kicks and knees abounded, reminding me of the old Kana.

Carmella vs Bayley on NXT

On the February 10th, episode of WWE NXT, Carmella got her championship match against Bayley.
And she lost.
But after the match Carmella and Bayley got jumped by Eva Marie and Nia Jax (the Power Alliance) and were saved when Asuka ran in.
Back in 2014 (I think), Carmella was feuding with Eva Marie, so I guess maybe that is gonna start heating up again.
